Why do you supply glue?
In most situations the glue is quick and easy to use, permanently securing the cat repellent spikes in place for many years. If the ledge is wooden, damp, a bit uneven or a poor quality surface etc, then you may wish to screw them down for peace of mind.

Do the spikes hurt or injure the cats in any way?
No. They are designed to provide maximum discomfort, enabling you to keep cats off without injury, simply acting as a barrier.

How wide a wall or fence will they protect?
Each strip will protect ledges that are 75mm (3 inches) wide. If your fence or walls are wider you will need two rows.

Could I use them to keep cats off my shed roof?
Yes. Some people have great success putting 2 or 3 rows around the edge of the shed roof which will often deter the cat from jumping up to the roof. However, if the cat jumps over the spikes into the middle it will be necessary to fit the strips side by side until the entire roof is covered, which can be very expensive.

Can I cut or bend the strips to fit a curved edge?
Yes, the polycarbonate strip is flexible and can be installed uneven and curved surfaces.

Can the strips be used as a human intruder / burglar deterrent?
Yes, these cat deterrents can be fitted to walls, fences, gates and drainpipes etc which will make it extremely difficult for intruders to get a hold on, but they are a visual deterrent rather than physical.
